TV Azteca

Melara & Asociados acted as Honduran Counsel for TV Azteca Honduras, S.A. de C.V., of Grupo Salinas of Mexico, in the public tender (No. CNT-CP002/2013) of the national channel 44 of Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) carried out by the National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL) of Honduras. The national channel tender was awarded to TV Azteca Honduras, S.A. de C.V. on September 5^th, 2013. This is the first public tender related to Digital Terrestrial Television, within the digital switchover process in Honduras. Only one national channel was tendered.
